Every wedding website on Aurelia has an FAQ section ready to fill in. The examples below are written so you can copy them and change the names and details. For everything else your website needs, see our wedding website checklist.

Timings and the day itself

What time should I arrive?
Please arrive by 2.30pm. The ceremony starts at 3pm sharp, and we’d love everyone seated before we walk in.
Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
Outdoors in the walled garden, weather permitting. If it rains, we’ll move into the Orangery next door.
What time does the party finish?
The bar closes at midnight and carriages are at 12.30am. Taxi numbers are in the Travel section.

Dress code

What should I wear?
Black tie: dinner jackets and floor-length or cocktail dresses. The ceremony is on the lawn, so you may want block heels.
Relaxed dress code
Garden party: summer dresses, linen suits, no ties required. Bring a layer for the evening, as it gets cool by the lake.

Showing guests the colours to wear answers the dress-code question before it is asked.

Guests often ask about colours as well. A line such as “Feel free to wear any colour except white” answers it in advance.

Guests, children and plus-ones

Are children invited?
We love your little ones, but our wedding will be adults only, apart from our nieces and nephews in the wedding party. We hope this gives you a night off to celebrate with us!
Can I bring a plus-one?
We’re keeping our numbers small, so we can only welcome the guests named on your invitation. Thank you for understanding.

For gentler or more detailed wording, see adults-only wedding wording and plus-one wording and etiquette.

Travel and accommodation

Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, there is free parking on site. If you’d like to leave your car overnight, please collect it by 11am the next day.
Where should we stay?
We’ve listed three hotels nearby in the Accommodation section. Mention our names when booking for the wedding rate, available until 1 March 2027.
How do I get there from the airport?
The nearest airport is Naples, about 90 minutes by car. We’re running a shuttle from the Hotel Caruso at 3pm on the day.

RSVPs and food

When do I need to RSVP by?
Please reply by 1 May 2027 using the RSVP button. You can change your answer until then from the same link.
What if I have a dietary requirement?
Let us know in your RSVP and we’ll pass it straight to the caterer. There will be vegetarian and vegan options at every course.

Gifts and photos

Do you have a gift list?
Having you there is the best gift of all. If you’d like to give something, our gift list is in the Gifts section.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We’re having an unplugged ceremony, so please keep phones away until we’re married. After that, snap away and share with us!

How to write your own FAQ answers

  • Start with a direct answer: “Yes”, “No” or a time.
  • Add one helpful detail, such as where to park or what to bring.
  • Use the same warm tone as your welcome message.
  • Keep private details, such as who is invited to which event, for personal messages.
  • Read your answers on a phone: if one runs past five lines, shorten it.

Questions about wedding website FAQs

What questions should be on a wedding website FAQ?
The ones guests ask most: arrival time, dress code, children, plus-ones, parking, accommodation, the RSVP date, dietary needs, gifts and photos. Add travel questions for a destination wedding.
How long should wedding FAQ answers be?
One or two sentences each. Guests read them on their phones, often while travelling, so a direct answer with one helpful detail works best.
Should the gift list go in the FAQ?
A short, gracious answer works well in the FAQ, with the full details in a separate gifts section.
How many FAQs should a wedding website have?
Usually eight to twelve. If you find yourself writing more, some of the answers probably belong in the schedule, travel or accommodation sections.
